It’s ok when you feel worried about your life sometimes

At a certain point in life, everyone feel lost. I am no exception as well.

I feel lost when I have so much things to do at work and in my personal life.

I feel lost when I take so much time to do something that I can’t put a little time aside to follow my writing passion.

I feel lost after fights between me and my husband.

I feel lost when I have only some coins in my pocket while there are a lot of things to pay.

I feel lost when I can’t make a firm decision about my carrer change.

I feel lost as a highly sensitive person struggling to comfort to my surroundings.

There is enough discouraged souls to go around, not just me.

This feeling can make you become exhausted, leading to a vast range of other emotions like anger, irritation and temper.

But it’s ok. Nothing has to worry in here.

Your negative feeling may be a good signal for you to take a step back and look inside yourself.

Below are some highly persuasive reasons.

1. It means that you should prioritize

If you feel confused because of your workload, you have to make a decision about what is most important to you. Don’t do many things at the same time. Because multitasking will kill your productity and your health. 
If you still attempt to handle all of them, you will regret soon.

2. It means that you have to change

Feeling lost in life means that something is no longer suitable for you any more, and you have to change. Or you made a wrong choice and now, you recognize that it doesn’t work.

Then, change is a must. Once you are willingness to get out of your comfort zone and accept your mistakes, your chaotic mind will be free.

3. It means that you have to get some rest and care yourself

Life isn’t always beautiful. Sometimes, it kicks you around, forces you to accept and overcome by your won. If you are too scared, you will fail.

Spending time on caring yourself is a good solution in those situations. When is the last time you talk to yourself (out loud) or listen to your inner voice?

Don’t ignore it. Let pay enough attention to your physical and mental body.

How to start over when you’re feeling lost in life

Before discovering things to help you get back on track, remember that do not let yourself be overwhelmed by negative thoughts. It’s better to keep your soul positive as much as possible.

1. Try something new that will make your life more exciting again

Try new things will give you wonderful experience that you never have before. You can travel to a new place, play a kind of sports or learn how to play an instrument. Do anything you want as long as it keeps you from worries and despair.

2. Find a quiet place and talk to yourself

When you are pressured by so many things in life that it makes you feel like you’re alone in this world, going somewhere and looking inside of you is a good choice.

By this way, you can completely focus on your soul, listen carefully what your inner voice is saying, and remove yourself from a noisy environment. 
You can ask yourself some questions like:

  • “Where does this feeling come from? Is it caused by working overtime too much or managing time ineffectively?”
  • “What is exactly my feeling now? Is it worried, anger, uncomfortable, discouraged or disappointed?”
  • “Do I want to share my trouble with anyone else?” If yes, let do it.
  • “What do I want to do right now?” If you know it, just take action.

3. Remember what you love to do and do it

Sometimes, we feel burdened by taking on a lot of responsibilities. With those in mind, we use lack of time, money and energy to make excuses for ourselves.

So it’s time to reconnect with what you love and make a commitment. I’m sure that you don’t want to regret later in life for not chasing your dream and taking risks.

4. Ask for help

You’re not alone in this planet. So, don’t hesitate to share your sufferings with others and ask some advice.

5. Relax

Find something make you laugh. You can watch a comedy or read funny stories.

6. Cook yourself a good meal

You will feel better if your stomach is full.

7. Take a shower

Water can comfort your body and refresh your mind. So don’t forget this tip when you’re too tired.

No matter what you are going through, you will find a way to release yourself if you know how to quiet your mind.
